Yes, I know it may sound shocking, however, diarrhoea is an illness that affects both humans and animals. This illness can cause unwanted health Issues to your poultry farm; as the chickens breed in their faeces, and they spread many diseases not only within themselves, but to other livestock as well.

Houseflies, mosquitoes are found in warm moist and dirty places; causing maggots. Most houseflies are naturally infected with germs of about twenty (20) human and animal diseases including typhoid fever, dysentery, cholera and poliomyelitis. Occasionally they collect germs from the animal excreta and deposit it on the surface of food. So, there is a need to control and treat diarrhoea in chickens.

Diarrhoea is an illness in which waste matter (excreta/faeces) is emptied from the BOWELS much more frequently than normal. For chickens, this can lead to fowl cholera, as houseflies could move germs from excreta/faeces to their feeds, which eventually leads to dead to chickens.

To treat chickens infected with diarrhoea, go to the nearest pharmacy and ask for "Red and Yellow capsule". It cost just N150 per tablets. Take two capsules from the tablet, open, and release the powder into a bowl of water. Give to your chickens. Or call a vet doctor for assistance if problem pesist.
