Financing or lack of capital is one of the most serious problems confronting Agro/food and Livestock farmers in Nigeria. The problem of financing in the agricultural sector of the Nigeria economy is more serious in our society than the advanced nations of the world. This is because of the absence of the kind of elaborate social-welfare structures which help to cushion the pain of cash crops and livestock losses suffered, and also in terms of the use of the most crude implements such as hoes, cutlasses, axes etc
