What Do Snails Feed On?

Snails are vegetarians, they feed on leaves, flower, fruits and tubers.

* Okra

* Cocoyam

* Pawpaw

* Amaranth

* Ugwu

* Lettuce

* Cabbage


FRUITS

* Ripe banana and plantain

* Ripe and unripe pawpaw

* Tomato

* Guava

* Water melon

* Cucumber

* Okra 


TUBER

* Cocoyam

* Yam 

* Sweet potato

* Carrot 


FLOWER

* Pawpaw flower


OTHER FEED

* Cowpea shaft

* Oyster shell

* Maize shaft (gotten after sieving pap)

* Supplementary calcium:- powdered chicken eggshells, powdered snail shells, powdered oyster shell.

* Compiled feed etc

NOTE:- SNAILS DON'T TAKE SALT. IT KILLS THEM.

They also feed on Processed feeds such as vegetable, pawpaw, pumpkin, break crumbs, and left over food. However leftover food attracts snail eating ants.

Just give you snails anything vegetables without salt and pepper. They are vegetarians and also feed of broiler feed.
