I did say tomatoes. However, it depends on the season. In some states in Nigeria, green pepper is four (4) times profitable than tomato.
My opinion is that tomatoes is very easy, fast to sale. However, why not plant both together? Space of two weeks after transplanted tomatoes.
I will vote for pepper if you are in the northern part of Nigeria, and you can harvest for a year, but tomatoes is between 2 to 3 months.
Demand raises the value of a commodity. You can plant both and find out which one is. It may depend on your location and how much you planted. Also, depends on what system are you planting on. Hydroponic system or open field (soil medium).
