There’s this term in vegetable farming that is worthy of noting.

In vegetable farming, the cost of labour alone when not properly managed, may end up being the sum total of the proceeds made after harvesting is done.

That is to say, that if care is not taken, the cost of setting up a vegetable farm may weigh much more than or equal to the actual gains made from the farm.

That being said,

Here are some tips that could help you beat the cost of labour as a beginner vegetable farmer:

By becoming a student of the business you should try as much as possible to master the steps and processes required in vegetable production.

Do not be a spectator who leaves everything in the hands of hired labourers who would in turn suck you dry.

Improving your negotiation skill demands that you master the art of price haggling.

Some of these farm labourers are so inconsiderate and wick.ed that when they sense you to be a beginner farmer and equally naïve, they would try all within their power to over charge you and most often, under deliver.

3). Work With A Professional.

In everything you do in life, seeking proper mentorship and guidance would save you a lot of trials and errors.
