It charcoal soluble can also form a part of tooth paste for whitening teeth. Let's not stop there. No waste anywhere. Always remember Recycle and Reuse.

Here's what to do next time.

Back then in the village, we do burn it into ashes to make something... I forgot what we turn the ashes into, and again we do use it to support firewood when cooking.

On a serious note, coconut shell has huge economic value in engineering, especially in the water treatment industry. If Nigerians and Africans exploit its huge benefits, it will create great economic growth/increase.

Very useful in Badagry........It is burn and use as charcoal. The shell is actually useful, is can be used as a vase

Funny some people gives tooth ache remedies using the shells. Just boil after washing the shells, add salt and once it’s warm use it to gaggle the tooth ache spot. Heard it’s effective. There is a use of this coconut shell….. for people who battled toothaches this is particular thing is a treatment to it. Or boiled it with potash…. Keep it in the mouth for like 3-5mins. Do morning and night for 2 days that is the end of the aches oooo.

Amazingly, coconut shell is used to make charcoal briquettes. This is a way to conserve the trees we burn to make charcoal and use for cooking in our homes, the briquettes is healthy for grilling too.
